Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of all machining equipment.
- Programming CNC mill and CNC lathe using Mazatrol language, G&M codes.
- Perform set-up operations including tooling, workholding/fixturing and program verification.
- Precisely measure/inspect parts to verify part quality and accuracy at all stages of setup and run.
- Proper management, utilization and maintenance of all tools, fixtures and devices.
- Optimizing each machine process to produce the most efficient and productive process possible.
- Create, store, edit, and retrieve CNC programs.
- Daily/weekly machine maintenance.
- Participation in continuous improvement processes.
Experience:
- 3+ yrs. operating CNC machining equipment.
- 1+ yrs. Programming machining centers.
- Knowledge of G&M code programming language.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to perform basic math skills (fractions, decimals)
- Ability to convert metric to imperial.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Must have own tools.
- Experience with sheet metal and light plate.
